Blossom Valley

Blossom Valley, named after its long ago cherry orchards, is a modest suburban neighborhood in the southern part of San Jose.

Westfield Oakridge Mall is in Blossom Valley and offers numerous restaurants, an Apple Computer store, Best Buy, Target, a Disney Store, Gap, Macy’s and Nordstrom’s, along with a Bowlmor center and AMC movie theaters.

Oak Grove High, Gunderson High and Pioneer are local high schools in this livable area of Blossom Valley.

Santa Teresa County Park, located in the Santa Teresa Hills, is a 1627 acres park featuring spectacular views. This historic site is home to hiking, biking, picnicking and is a favorite for the numerous dog walks that go on each day.

The Santa Teresa Golf Course offers an 18 hole championship course along with a nine hole par 3 course.

The Pueblo Day Area is a staging area for equestrians, hiking and biking. There are 18 miles of trails available at this trail head. You can even find archery on certain days of the week.

There are two Blossom Valley libraries. The Pearl Avenue Branch, near the Westfield Oakridge shopping mall and the Santa Teresa Branch near Santa Teresa County Park.

The VTA Light Rail Public Transit system has many stops in the Blossom Valley area which will provide transportation to the Downtown San Jose area, along with routes to Mountain View, Santa Clara, Milpitas and Campbell.
