Los Altos, a city of approximately 29,000 is located in the Southern end of the San Francisco Bay Area about 40 miles South. A now affluent bedroom community was home to agriculture, summer cottages and apricot farms before. Shopping and commercial offices are primarily located in the downtown area.
Los Altos was the first home of Apple Computer in 1976.

An Art and Wine festival is an annual event featuring live music, food booths, arts and crafts along with several wine vendors from the area and beyond.
A history museum along with 2 libraries, the Los Altos Main Library and the Woodland Branch are a community.
