Saratoga ranked Top 4 in top earning towns by CNN/Money magazine is also ranked Top 20 in most educated town by Forbes in 2009. Bloomberg Businessweek named Saratoga the most expensive suburb of California. 2013 Housing Listing Report named Saratoga the 3rd most expensive housing market in the United States.

With it boutique downtown area with outdoor coffee shops, resturants, art galleries and shopping. The cities community feel is apparent as you travel the main tree lined street.

Saratoga Mountain Winery, a historical landmark, is now home to top rated concerts from entertainers through out the world including Ella Fitgerald, Tony Bennett, Ringo Star, Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles.

Saratoga Villa Montalvo, a state park and cultural and art center was donated by James Duval Phelan after his death. In 1978 Villa Montalvo was designated a historical landmark and included in the National Register of Historical Places.

The city of Saratoga offers a Holiday Tree Lighting along with several parks and community events including a Farmers Market.
